AI is meant to make life easier for businesses. LLMs and Generative AI can understand and interpret complex written text, human conversations, and even images. Then structure and synthesize the learning and respond just like humans.
Yet with all this magic, AI is not ready for Enterprises. Not with our 99.99% expectations for accuracy and compliance in enterprise interactions. What we need is not just faster and better AI but also one that is reliable and responsible. There is little room for errors when you have to respond to customers or submit a financial statement to an auditor or handle a legal dispute.
With the perfect combination of AI Agents and humans aligned with clients on a transaction-based or fixed price revenue model. Not billed on the basis of number of people involved or the time they take to perform the task.
Legacy businesses are not incentivized to work as we do. Legacy BPM/BPO companies still have prices based on FTEs and time spent, and thus little incentive for executing the quantum productivity growth potential of AI. Legacy SaaS companies typically sell products and contribute little to their being used beneficially. Enterprises are left to figure out how to make them work and that too with expensive monthly payouts whether they deliver or not.
Building products differently
All our teams operate in a “Lab” setting and are organized as 3-In-A-Box Labs. At an Aistra Lab, industry or function experts work in tandem with AI developers and business consultants to not just build the product but also to ensure productive customer adoption and (our favorite phrase) alignment of interests. And more often than not, we build products with a client as an active design partner.
Ensuring the right AI-Human balance
We believe that depending purely on a software product for productivity improvements in most cases is foolish and irresponsible. But ignoring the AI-based opportunity is equally foolhardy. As Generative AI technologies are still maturing, it is important to find the right balance between human and AI involvement for any business process.
Taking full responsibility for AI impact
If and when our clients seek accountability, Aistra is not shy of managing and even carving out a client’s operation and taking responsibility for enabling a quantum leap in productivity and effectiveness.
Case Studies that Make AI Work
This Lab is developing a suite of AI products for auditors to cut down audit time by 30-50%. This product suite has 15 microapps built for each stage of the audit process and is built in tandem with your design partner, a mid-sized audit firm based in the US.
Unconstrained Lab
The purpose of this lab is to reduce time for K-12 teachers on student-related administrative processes such as lesson planning, assessment, feedback, personalization of learning programs, etc. We achieve these outcomes through a family of AI microapps backed by certification courses to create AI champions who guide other educators on how to enhance the quality of work.
Our Business Model
Once we build our products, we take them to market through either building and operating a Customized Lab for one specific customer or developing a standard multi-customer platform to which they can subscribe or can use for enabling and conducting transactions.
